Just one-hour’s drive from Melbourne, Mount William’s private and tranquil three-bedroom farmhouse is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature in the rolling hills of the Macedon Ranges.

Close to the township of Lancefield, the pet-friendly farmhouse is set on 200 acres of rolling olive groves, paddocks and gardens. Soak up the tranquil surroundings or get out and explore nearby walking trails, cool-climate wineries, restaurants and food markets or other outdoor activities.

The farmhouse accommodates six guests in three bedrooms (in three beds) with two bathrooms – the ideal retreat for family or friends.

With panoramic views, an open wood fireplace, eight-seater dining table, two large outdoor terraces and a rustic country-style kitchen, the farmhouse is the ideal place to cook up a feast using locally sourced produce while enjoying a glass of cool-climate local wine.

Practical aspects have not been forgotten either, with air-conditioning, heating and a washer and dryer available.

Incredible birdlife and and wildlife can be enjoyed from the farmhouse. Spot eagles, black cockatoos, owls, magpies, rosella, honey eaters, finches, wrens and sparrows. If you’re lucky, you may even see the resident kookaburra in the gardens. Our paddocks are home to a herd of Black Angus cows and kangaroos, wombats and foxes are regular visitors.

There’s no better place to experience a taste of country Victoria, within easy reach of the city.
